The steamer is used to clean the outside of the print head.  It is the perfect equipment to clear dried ink and to open clogged nozzles on printheads.  

The pressure of the steamer is designed not to damage even the most sensitive cartridges.  The steamer can be used before and/or after refilling a cartridge and works best if used in conjunction with the heated Ultrasound.
